Case Study - Non Line of Sight Wireless Backhaul of Traffic Controls and Cameras

Alpha Omega Wireless did the wireless installation of a point to point wireless Ethernet bridge to create wireless backhaul link between one of the light standards at remote section of the city back to the City Hall. This link was a 3.7 miles shot going through the two grooves of trees. The solution consisted of using an Orthogon Systems integrated Gemini Lite ( a 22 Mbps system with a built in antenna), now a Motorola PTP400, at the top of a light standard and a connectorized version of the Gemini Lite with an Andrew 2ft dual parabolic antenna at the police department's tower at the City Hall.
