American Rescue Plan Act of 2021

Make the necessary investment to your water, sewer, or broadband infrastructure

The American Rescue Act of 2021 (ARPA) was signed on March 11, 2011 and provides $1.9 trillion for individual and government aide related to COVID-19. More specifically, ARPA provides $350 billion to help states, counties, cities and tribal governments.

Stimulus funds available through the American Rescue Plan Act will allow you to make necessary investments in water, sewer or broadband infrastructure. In terms of timing, ARPA is available until December 31, 2024 with the following funding available:

  • $195.3 billion to states and the District of Columbia
  • $130.2 billion to local governments (counties, cities)
  • $20 billion to tribal governments

Alpha Omega Wireless, Inc. is a full turnkey, wireless integrator that can help you utilize the ARPA funds that are available to you.

We will also help provide consultation through the ARPA process.

Who is eligible for funding?

A unit of local government eligible for receipt of direct payment includes a county, municipality, town, township, village, parish, borough, or other unit of general government below the State level with a population that exceeds 500,000.

Has this stimulus fund been used for Public Safety projects?

Several states are currently in process of utilizing stimulus funds for public safety projects to upgrade their communications infrastructure, including infrastructure in support of public safety and in support of emergency communications centers.

ARPA identifies eligible government units based on population (>500K) and these designated States, Counties, and Cities will receive funding directly from the U.S. Treasury. All other cities will receive distribution through the State.
